Numerical Study on Subsonic-Supersonic Laval Nozzle Using MacCormack Scheme

چکیده

Due to the wide application of Delaware nozzle in many fields, flow characteristics subsonic-supersonic isentropic De-Laval are analyzed numerically. The can be simplified a quasi-one-dimensional problem. First, MacCormack format is employed discretize control equations conservative form. Then, results with and without artificial viscosity compared. Grid independence also discussed. show that numerical solution theoretical agree very well, indicating simulation reliable. In addition, higher pressure will reduce peak valley values Mach number, pressure, density, temperature velocity nozzle, these extreme subsonic supersonic appear earlier. Additionally, shock wave accurately captured, behind throat. This research great significance understand nozzle.
